The Residence Bed and Breakfast, Lynchburg, VA is located on historic Rivermont Avenue. It was built in 1915 as the residence for the president of Randolph-Macon Woman's College (now Randolph College), and college presidents resided here until 1983. During those years many well-known writers, artists, statesmen and celebrities were entertained here, including Elizabeth Taylor, President Gerald Ford, Georgia O'Keeffe, Roger Mudd and Pearl S. Buck.
