How do I make reservations?

You may RESERVE ONLINE or if you prefer, we will gladly take your reservation by phone or mail or email and guarantee it for you by deposit of one night’s lodging. Your balance will be due upon arrival. Master Card, Visa, personal checks, traveler’s checks or cash payments will be accepted. A refund will be issued if you cancel seven days prior to your scheduled arrival, less a $10 handling fee.

**Please let us know if you need to arrive before 3:00 PM or later than 6:00 PM.
** Checkout time is 11:00 AM.  Sorry, we are unable to accommodate pets.

What are the home's features?

  You will remember your visit at The Residence for its comfort, convenience and hospitality. You’ll enjoy the comfortable surroundings of the spacious rooms, with their original and beautifully preserved hardwood floors and the special treasures from our African safaris and years in Europe. Guestrooms are eclectically furnished with twin/king or queen-size beds and have private baths.

What policies should I know about?

• We are unable to accommodate pets.
• We are happy to welcome children ten years old and older
• The Residence is a smoke-free environment.
• Please give at least seven days notice if you need to cancel a reservation.  There will be no cancellation penalty if we are able to rebook the room. 
• We must know if you need to arrive before 3:00 PM or later than 6:00 PM.
• Check-out time is 11:00 am.

What transportation is available?

• We are approximately 15 minutes from the Lynchburg Airport.
• Taxis, rental cars, and limousine services are all available in Lynchburg.
• We provide off-street parking for your car.
